ETHEL INEZ WEEMS

ROY - Ethel Inez Weems, 80, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother went to be with her husband in Heaven on Friday, October 1, 2004.

She was born on May 3, 1924 in Florence, Alabama. In 1945 she married Melvin Weems in her hometown, became an Air Force Sergeant's wife and traveled a lot. They spent most of their years in California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 12 brothers and sisters and her husband.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Gabbitas (Robert) Roy, sons Rick Weems (Debbie) Alaska, and Jim Weems, Oregon. Six grandchildren Brian Gabbitas (Linda), Shaunna Pollock (Jeff), Ryan Weems (Shelsea), Elisha Gettman (Brandon), Jonathan Weems, Jessica Jurado (Jacob) and seven great-grandchildren.

She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her great-grandkids.
She also loved watching out for her neighbors. She will be greatly missed!
