Eugene "Gene" Dorse Browne
Gene passed away February 16, 2015. Gene was born on April 14, 1929 in Liberal, Kansas to Dane and Mildred Davis Browne.
Gene was first married to Patricia Fry in 1958. They were later divorced. He was married to Nancy Stringham in 1982. She passed away in December of 2013.
Gene was a devout Christian who had a personal relationship with the Lord.
He served honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He retired from HAFB as a sheet metal craftsman. Gene loved the outdoors. He went camping, fishing, and traveled a great deal. He worked with different stones and metals from which he crafted beautiful jewelry. Gene was the family champion of checkers.
He is survived by his daughters, Terri J. Crouch (Bruce) and Pam C. Clements (Bob); 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a brother Jerald Browne.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Harrison Regent and Meghan with Envision Home Health for their tender loving care.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Myers Ogden Mortuary.
