Eugene H. Orgill

CLINTON - Eugene H. Orgill passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, April 6, 2006.

He was born April 3, 1914 in McCammon, Idaho to Nephi Ball and Ruby Lish Orgill.

Eugene married Ruby Morby on August 16, 1938 in American Falls, Idaho. He worked at Kraft Foods in Idaho and at Hanford Nuclear Power Plant in Washington. He also farmed while in Washington. When he retired they moved back to Idaho. In 1989 they moved to Utah to be near their son and family.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Eugene served in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1942 to 1945 as a medical corpsman in the North Africa and Italian Theaters.

Surviving is his son Neil (Susan) Orgill of Clinton; his sister Millicent Merrill of Stockton, CA; his brother Robert (Verde) Orgill of Elma, WA; grandchildren Neil E. (Kristin) Orgill of Clinton and Michelle (Shane) Fleming of Clinton; great-grandchildren Kaden (Vickie Orgill mother), Samantha, Mickenzie, Alexis and Jared.

Preceding him in death was his wife Ruby, brothers Harry, Cliff and Neil, sisters Mildred, Ruby and Effie.

The family would like to thank Harmony Home Health and Hospice for their professional and loving care of Dad and also for their support to the family.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Myers Mortuary in Roy, 5865 South 1900 West. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice or your favorite charity.
