EVA JEAN WATSON
CLEARFIELD - Eva Jean Watson, 84, passed away Monday, December 12, 2005 at Davis Hospital and Medical Center.
She was born May 20, 1921 in McCammon, Idaho, the daughter of John R. and Geneva Southworth Parkinson.
She married her lifelong sweetheart Clinton W. Watson in the Logan Temple in 1937.
She was an active member of the Clearfield 10th Ward where she served in various callings. She was proud of her heritage and being a member of DUP.
She loved Senior Citizen Mystery Rides with her life long friend Edna Bateman. She loved to embroider and watch Jazz games.
Mom's greatest joy was her family. Mom loved to ride and see the wildlife and nature's beauty. She especially loved caring for "her" blue birds in her backyard. Mom lived a simple life, with a very strong testimony, that remained strong to the very end. We will always cherish her example of Thanksgiving and unconditional love.
She is survived by her children; Garry C. (Gayle) Watson, John O. (Jessie) Watson, Sherry Buckway (John deceased), Arla Rae Watson (Anna), 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one grandson, one brother and one sister.
Our heartfelt thanks is extended to all the staff, nurses, doctors, and volunteers at Davis Hospital. A special thanks to Elizabeth Dean, her Inspiration Hospice nurse. We truly were privileged to know these very special Earth Angels.
