Evelyn Brown Fiet

Louisville, Kentucky - Evelyn Brown Fiet, age 90, was born to Nephi J. Brown and Vilate Taylor Brown in Ogden, Utah on August 15, 1919 and returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the Meadow View Nursing Home in Louisville, Kentucky.

Mrs. Fiet was a homemaker living in Redondo Beach, California for over fifty years and a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was preceded in death by her husband Owen O. Fiet; her parents Nephi and Vilate Brown and a daughter, Francis Cummings.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son, James O. Fiet and his wife Terry; four grandchildren, Kyle James Fiet and his wife Becky, Kevin James Fiet and his wife Rachel, Jennifer Lynne Styer and her husband Nick, and Katherine Lynne Fiet; two great-grandsons, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ben Lomond Cemetery in North Ogden. Arrangements under the direction of Myers Mortuary of Ogden.
