Farrell Charles Leishman

BRIGHAM CITY - Farrell Charles Leishman, 79, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at Ogden Regional Hospital with his family by his side.
Farrell was born February 9, 1936 in Wellsville, Utah a son of Sarah B. Wyatt and Lamont S. Leishman.
He married his sweetheart Irene Singleton on April 5, 1974, in Elko, NV.
Farrell worked at Thiokol and retired after 33 years working on the Space Shuttle program, both at Promontory, UT and Florida. He enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, and metal detecting.
Farrell was a kind hearted man that never turned anyone away. He loved his neighbors and loved spoiling his dog Sadie.
Surviving are his children: Kevin (Launa) Leishman, Wellsville, UT; Teena (Lynn) Greer, Collingston, UT; Pamela (John) Buirley, Logan, UT; Kory John (Casey) Leishman, Tremonton, UT; Gary Craner, Roy, UT; Lisa Tasso, Brigham City, UT; Tricia (Wayne) Vigil, Brigham City, UT; 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Also siblings: Maureen (Udell) Perkes, Richard (Linda) Leishman and Clyde (Deann) Leishman, both of Nibley, UT.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife Irene, daughter Cathy, sister Ranee and brother Lee.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City.
Friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the Mortuary.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
