Fern Loretta Berrett Beesley Obituary (1912 - 2006)

FERN LORETTA BERRETT BEESLEY CLINTON - Fern Loretta Berrett Beesley, 93, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2006, from congestive heart failure. Fern was born February 13, 1912, in North Ogden, Utah, to Orson Toone and Clara May Dixon Berrett. She married Earl Swann Beesley on June 1, 1931 in Roy, Utah. She lived in Roy until 1947 when she moved to Sunset. She remained there until 2001 when she moved to Country Pines in Clinton. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served in the Sunday School and Primary organizations. She also served many years as a visiting teacher. She was endowed in the temple in 1967. When she was sixteen she worked for Grozenbach Millinery making hats. She also worked as a seamstress at Utah Knitting Co. Later she was self employed as a seamstress and enjoyed crocheting and quilt making. She enjoyed reading. She is survived by one daughter, Earlene (Gary) Johnson, Clinton; a sister, Vera Patterson, Clinton; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son Richard, her parents, a brother, Wayne Berrett, and a grand-son Nolan Johnson.
