FIELDA MORRIS Roy - Our Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend Fielda Morris, 76, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2001 at the McKay- Dee Hospital in Ogden. She was born January 31, 1925 in Fountain Green, Utah, the daughter of Frank L. and Amy Christiansen Samuels. Fielda married Douglas R. Morris on April 12, 1945 in Las Vegas, NV. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Douglas passed away April 28, 1984. She was a member of the Roy Sixteenth Ward LDS Church, where she served as Junior Sunday School Coordinator, Visiting Teacher and Taught Primary. She was an avid reader. Fielda enjoyed taking the grandkids to Island Park. Her special times were spent with her daughter, grandkids and great-grandkids. Fielda was a friend to everyone she met and loved to visit with people. She is survived by her daughter Catherine (Dennis) White, Plain City; and four grandchildren Daren (Janece) White, Eric (Traci) White, Amy (Tony) Byington, Cody White, and six great-grandchildren, Aspen, Jayden, Taylor, Hudson, Kylee and Makayla. Also surviving are two sisters, Ella Cloward, Fountain Green, Utah; Collette Tomney, Washington Terrace, Utah.
