Florence Meng Hunsaker

FLORENCE MENG HUNSAKER
May 27, 1913 - September 29, 2004

ROY - Loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away at home at the age of 91.

Born to Friedrich Karl Meng and Marie Alene Schleifer in Rexburg, Idaho.

She was reared and educated in Rexburg, Idaho area and attended two year's at Rick's College. She married the love of her life James T. Hunsaker, on March 6, 1946 in the Idaho Falls Temple. Together they raised one son, until James'death November 21, 1977.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Roy 10th Ward.

She worked at Hill Air Force Base for 35 years before retiring. In 1960 she along with her husband opened "Hunsaker's Dairy", until it closed in 1973.

She is survived by: her son Wallace (Wally) J. Hunsaker and five granddaughters, Sandi (Roger) Hahn, Valerie (Charles) Robertson, Synthia (Steve) Schneider, Kymberly Hunsaker, Lori Emmett, 17 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren and one brother Charles Meng.

The family would also like to thank Hospice and the other nursing services and doctors who cared for Florence for their kind and loving care and all our family and friends for their loving support.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters, four brothers and twin great-granddaughters.
