Ogden - Florence Jensen died peacefully on March 23, 2011 in the presence of her loving children. She was born December 7, 1922 in Ogden, Utah to Alexander and Florence Nellie Bune Wheelwright. Florence married the love of her life, Alonzo Max Jensen on June 9, 1945 in Ogden.

Florence and Max enjoyed golf and bridge with friends and spending time with family. They lived in Ogden, Los Angles, Houston, St. George and Brigham City.

Florence was an accomplished artist. She also enjoyed watching the Utah Jazz.

She is survived by her children, Nancy (Mike) Madeo, of Morgan, Stephen Max (Loretta) Jensen of CA, Alan Lars (Jill) Jensen, of CA and Cheryl (David) Granger of NM; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and her brother Walter (Carole) Wheelwright of Roy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Max; 2 sisters, Donna Wheelwright and Thelma Player.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., where friends may call prior to the service from 10 - 10:45 a.m. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
