Fortino L. Rodriguez Obituary (1919 - 2007)

Fortino L. Rodriguez OGDEN - Fortino L. Rodriguez, 87 years young, passed away February 10, 2007 at Ogden Regional Hospital. He was born August 12, 1919 in Cerritos, Mexico to Patricio Rodriguez and Lina DeLeon Rodriguez. He married Virginia Aldrete May 1, 1951; they migrated to the U.S. in 1955. He retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad after 28 years. He enjoyed gardening and playing cards with his family, he enjoyed having all his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren around him. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Aldrete; sister, Fidela; nine children, Maria (Anibal), Elena (Leonel), Fortino Jr. (Paulie), Victor (Marianela), Virginia (Larry), Stella (Steve), Rene, Armida (Jerry), Robert (Chrisy); 21 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters and two brothers.
