Frances Mary Benedict Morris

OGDEN - Frances Morris, 88, of Ogden passed away August 23, 2004 at South Ogden Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 6, 1916 in West Weber, Utah, the daughter of William Jesse Benedict and Mary Violette Cox.

She loved playing with babies, crocheting toys and dresses for her granddaughters, gardening, working in her yard and helping everyone who had a need. She could cook with the best of them and especially enjoyed doing it. She had many friends. She worked for many years at the American Linen Company.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions, especially working with the youth.

She is survived by her son Michael (Mick) and Linda of Clinton; four granddaughters, Angela (Ryan) Pectol, Sandi (Robby) Hoffman, Stephanie (Dan) Atkinson, Jennifer (Steve) Richardson and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Susan East and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Gerry who was lost at sea.

She was called home on August 23, 2004, the day of her oldest son, Gerry's, 59th birthday. When he came to escort her home to be with her Mom, Dad and family, who had passed on before her.

Mom, grandma, we love you very much and you will always be with us.
