Frank Edward Irving Obituary (1924 - 2015)

Frank Edward Irving Our loving father, grandfather, and friend, Frank Edward Irving, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2015. He was born on August 23, 1924 in Cashion, Oklahoma to Henriatta "Etta" Wanzer and Frank Marion Irving. He married his sweetheart, Virginia Ellen Wilson, on June 1, 1946. They were married for 64 years. Frank enjoyed tinkering around the garage, fishing, camping, and hunting. He loved being outdoors, riding horses and shooting his shotgun. His main passion was his family. He is survived by his son, Steve Irving; daughter, Judy (Gary) Duckworth; grandchildren, Cyndi (John) Brown, Chris (Shawn) Harrison, David (Gladys) Harrison, Wendy (Eric) Freed, Joshua (Kristina) Duckworth and Scott Duckworth; 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; siblings, Matie Jeffries, Earnest Smith, Calvin Lee Irving and Ada Francis Sturgeon. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. A viewing will be held prior to services from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be at the Evergreen Memorial Park.
