Franklin Joseph Moon, Sr

CORINNE - Franklin Joseph Moon, Sr., 85, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the Pioneer Care Center.
Frank was born in Malad, Idaho on August 27, 1921 a son of Frank Leslie and Mary Barnett Moon. His father died when Frank was young and his mother married Andrew M. Johnson. Andrew was the only father that Frank had known.
He married Mary Aylce Blackett on May 25, 1942 in Preston, Idaho.
Frank served his country in the Marines in the WWII and received the "Purple Heart".
He was a member of the Corinne 1st Ward.
Surviving are his wife, Alyce, children: Sharon (Jerry) Young,
Franklin (Debra) Moon, Jr., Marsha Cooper, daughter-in-law, Colleen Moon, 11 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his son, William (Bill) Moon.
Friends and family may call on Saturday, June 9, 2007 from 11:00 to 12 Noon at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City.
Interment will be in the Malad Cemetery with Military Honors Accorded.
