Frederick H. "Fred" Kohler Buchler, age 60, passed away on November 9, 2019, surrounded by his family at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. He was the devoted husband of Nancy L Alexander Buchler. They were married on February 4, 1984 in Endwell, New York. they shared 36 wonderful years of marriage together.
Frederick was born in Meshoppen, PA on August 21, 1959, a son of Gustave A. Kohler Jr. and Eva M. Crandall. He was an avid car man and he loved to work on cars and go to car shows. He was a passionate outdoorsman and enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. He loved, Pepsi, coffee and his dogs. Fred was a fun practical joker. Fred was a big family man. He loved his wife, children and he was an amazing Grandpa and "Papa" to his 6 grandchildren, Trent, Rose, Destiny, Alexis, Kylie and Orion.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy, a son Chad (Emma) Buchler and a daughter Brenda M. (Thomas "T J") Hodges. Fred is also survived by his brother Gilbert (Darlene) Kohler and three sisters Rita, Floryce and Eva and son-in-law Todd Jackson. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Anita Mae Jackson, a brother, Oscar and a sister, Harriet.
Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Myers Mortuary in Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd, where family will meet friends from 5 :00 to 6:00 p.m.
