Freeman Wayne Wilcox Obituary (1923 - 2007)

BRIGHAM CITY - Freeman Wayne Wilcox, 83, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2007 in Ogden. He was born in Salt Lake City, UT on December 30, 1923 a son of Henry Freeman and Nannie Lonella Householder Wilcox. Wayne served his country in WWII in the Army. He married Rhea Lou Olsen on January 26, 1944in the Salt Lake Temple. He was preceded in death by his wife Rhea and son, Larry Wayne Wilcox. Wayne later married Iva Beth Tanner on July 6, 1990. He served in many callings in the LDS Church. Wayne is survived by his wife, Iva Beth, Brigham City; two daughters, Majorie (Douglas) Graham, Ogden; Becky (William) Larsen, Salt Lake City; tow sons Rodger (Cindy) Tanner, Kent (Cindy) Tanner, Brigham City nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 16, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the Brigham City 7th Ward Chapel, 523 North 100 West, Brigham City. Friends may call on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on Monday from 12:00 to 12:40 p.m. at the Church. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery with Military Honors Accorded.
