Gabriela "Gaby" Anabela (Lugo) Talbot Obituary (1971 - 2021)

On Friday January 29, 2021, Gabriela Talbot, loving wife and mother of three children passed away at the age of 49. Gaby was born on October 28, 1971 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Julian and Naida Lugo, she was the oldest of five girls. After high school, she worked as a CNA for seven years. She then got married and become a mother of three wonderful boys. August 2000 she moved to USA at the age of 29. Her second marriage was to Larry Talbot on July 23, 2009, her companion to the end. She has two beautiful granddaughters and one on the way. Gaby loved spending time with them, she always said, "they were her vitamins". Her last job was at Rocky Mountain Care where she worked as a CNA for the last nine years, she was loved and appreciated by staff and patients. She was a good friend to many people, always sharing her care and love to everyone. Gaby was fighting stage four colon cancer, in the last four years she had five surgeries and continued treatments. These gave her the opportunity to spend more time with family and friends. The family feels an immense gratitude for the cares that she received by the hand of healthcare workers and doctors. Gabriela was preceded in death by her grandmother, Gilda. She is survived by her husband, Larry; her three children, Gonzalo, Thomas and Tobias; her father, Julian; and mother; Naida; her four sisters, Elizabeth, Maria Naida, Gilda and Belen; her granddaughters, Yerely, Emilee, Kamila. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 250 North Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah. Family and friends may gather Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be at Clearfield City Cemetery. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, precautions, Masks are Required by those who attend. Please also adhere to social distancing practices.
