G.T. ''Bud'' Carolan, Jr Obituary (1927 - 2002)

OGDEN - Bud Carolan, 74, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2002 at Ogden Regional Hospital. He was born May 29, 1927 in Richmondville, NY to Gaillard T. Carolan, Sr. and Florence H. Ryman. He married June Shadbott on October 28, 1951 in Huntington, NY. She preceded him in death in 1976. He was a Veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking and gardening. Surviving are his children, Stephen T. Carolan, Blackfoot, ID; James A. Carolan, Ogden; Susan (Brad) Atkinson, Evanston, WY; Jan Carolan, Wasilla, Alaska; Jill Kukowski, Evanston, WY; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are his sister, Carol Simon, Charlotte, NC; and a special companion, Joan Gilbert.
