Genevieve Bond Brown
OGDEN - Genevieve Bond Brown, 85, compassionate servant, passed away peacefully in Roseville, Minnesota, on April 14th 2005.
She was born March 26, 1920 in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho to Fred and Clara Bond.
"Gen" graduated from High School and soon married Lee Daniels Brown on December 13th, 1930, for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple.
Her favorite place on earth was in Pine Mountain Lake, California. There, she and Lee built their dream home, where they spent many long and happy years together.
Gen loved to do many things from gardening to traveling, although her favorite pastime was dancing with Lee.
Over her 85 years of life, Genevieve committed countless "random acts of kindness" from picking up trash during her morning walks, to volunteer teacher's aid at a local kindergarten and visiting and chauffeuring her senior friends to their doctor's appointments.
Gen deeply loved her church, where she spent many years serving in Primary and Relief Society and many other compassionate service roles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Clara Bond, 3 brothers Fred, Howard and Paul, her sister Violet, her son Mickey and her husband Lee. She is survived by her 3 sisters Florence, Margret, and June, brother James, her sons Dan and Steve, daughter Jill, 9 grand children, and 2 great grand children - all whom she loved deeply.
