Geroge L. Cain Jr Obituary (1942 - 2016)

George L. Cain Jr. George L. Cain Jr., 73, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Rocky Mountain Care Center in Clearfield, Utah. He was born June 23, 1942 in Eastman, Georgia to George L. Cain Sr., and Barbara Jiles. He was referred to as "Joe Jiles" by his mother's family. George married Margaret Marchman on December 9, 1960 in Eastman, Georgia. They had 55 wonderful years together. George graduated from Dodge County High School in 1960. George retired from HAFB after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Roy Elks. He worked as an auto mechanic in the family business (Topsy) Jiles Machine Shop in Eastman, Georgia. He loved hunting and liked off road and NASCAR racing. He bought "Bonneville Off-road Racing Enthusiast." He ran that business from 1997 to 2007. He also coached football and baseball for his boys. Papa loved and cherished his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Margaret M. Cain, children: Lewis (Joy) Cain, Jeri (Steve) Wiant, Glenn (Jenny) Cain, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and half-sister, Phyllis (Jake) Sensinger, Mapleton, Utah; and aunt, Norma Jean Jiles Stubbs, Covington, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two half-sisters. The family would like to thank the CNA's and staff members at Rocky Mountain Care Center for the care given to George over the years.
