Gerritje Aafjes Mook Obituary (1920 - 2004)

GERRITJE AAFJES MOOK HOOPER - Gerritje (Gerry) Aafjes Mook, Beloved wife, mother and Oma returned home to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 9, 2004. Gerry died peacefully with her family at her side in her home in Hooper. Gerry married her husband Johannes on July 23, 1941 and had been married for 62 years. They were sealed and married for time and all eternity at the New Zealand Temple in 1968. She leaves behind her loving children: in Australia: Con (Cynthia) Mook, Ineke (James) Scott, In America: Jayne Mook; Richard Mook; Tony (Dana) Mook; Mark (Galynn) Mook. Her brothers Klass Aafjes (Northfork Island), Brett Aafjes (Australia). Her 25 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
