Gladys L. Futch Kofoed Obituary (1924 - 2004)

GLADYS L. FUTCH KOFOED ROY/ Willard - Gladys L. Futch Kofoed, 80, went home to her Heavenly Father on October 11, 2004. She was born January 2, 1924 in Red Springs, North Carolina, the daughter of William Lacy and Elsie Mae Smith Futch. She married Arthur Quay Kofoed on June 16, 1946 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Zane Quay Kofoed, a daughter, Diane Kofoed Grow and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, Gilbert T. Buie of Fayetteville, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur and two sons, Doyle and Billy. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. at the Willard City Cemetery.
