Glodean Allen Cook Obituary (1939 - 2004)

Glodean Allen Cook CLEARFIELD - On December 24, 1939, in Palestine, TX, the late Lethornal "L.T." Allen & Ruth Fisher Allen were blessed with another baby girl. They named this gift from Heaven, Glodean. She attended Booker T. Washington School in Mesa, AZ. On June 21, 1958, Glodean was united in holy matrimony to William T. Cook. To this union five children were born. She was a member of Eastern Stars, Queen Esther Grand Chapter, Loyal Lady & Daughter of ISIS for many years. She was also a member of True Vine Baptist Church. It was Friday, July 2nd, 2004 when the gate at the end of "Life's Journey" opened and the soul took flight and Glodean entered into "Eternal Rest." Now the Laborer's Task is over. Glodean is survived by her husband, William T. Cook; three daughters, Charlotte Cook, Patricia Cook-Trent and Stacy Cook; two sons, William T. Cook Jr. and Ronald "Freddie" (Jedonia) Cook; mother, Ruth Fisher Allen; sisters, Claudia Woodley, Veneta Harrison & Emily Johnson; brothers, Lafayette "Billy" Allen and Emory Montgomery. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Tiffany Trent, Steffany Trent, Priscilla Cook, Janea Cook, Cheyenne Nielsen, Trevon Cook, Sadie Glodean Cook & Ronald "Mathias" Cook; special friends, Willie & Barbara Wright and a large host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Preceding her in death was her father, Lethornal "L. T." Allen; sister, Dolores Montgomery and brother Charles Kelley.
