Glorine Marie Becker Obituary (1964 - 2010)

Glorine Marie Becker HOOPER - Glorine Marie Becker passed away peacefully in her sleep on Dec 28, 2010 after suffering for several years with a prolonged illness. She was born Dec 18, 1964 to John A. and Juanita E. Becker in Oakland, California. She grew up in San Pablo, California and graduated from Richmond High School. She later moved to St. George, Utah in 1985. She attended Utah Valley College and Weber State University. She worked for Sun Capital Bank, Continental Airlines, and the IRS. Glorine enjoyed boating, fishing, gardening, and was known for being an excellent cook. She loved reading, taking institute classes and serving others. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was currently serving as the ward librarian and visiting teacher. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, many aunts and uncles and her father, John Becker. She is survived by her mother, Juanita Becker and her brother John Richard Becker. The family would like to thank all the doctors and medical personal who cared for Glorine over the years. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 3, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, where a viewing will be held for family and friends from 12 noon to 1 p.m. prior to services.
