BRIGHAM CITY - Gordon Jay Wilson passed away September 21, 2011 in Brigham City, Utah at age 83. Gordon was born July 21, 1928 in Glasgow, Montana to Charles E. and Ellen Kathrine Bergstrom Wilson. Gordon served his country during WWII. He lived in many places but made his home in Brigham City. He attended Glasgow High School, Northern Montana College, State Normal and Industrial College, Northern State Teachers' College. He married Grace Louise Rudolph and they were parents of three children. Gordon enjoyed bowling, hunting, and drinking coffee with dear friends. He retired from Intermountain Indian School as a Public Health Educator.
Survivors are daughters: Sharon (Duane) Brant, Hollywood, FL; Tai (Mike) DeRyke, Brigham City, UT; sons: Alan (Bobbie) Wilson, Graham, WA; and James (Rosella) Wilson, Poplar, MT; six grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death were his parents, Charles and Ellen, a brother, Don, a sister, Shirley, and his loving wife of 53 years, Grace.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Brigham City Cemetery. The family would like to express special thanks to Alpine Hospice.
