Grant R. Hofler Click here to listen to Funeral Recording I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the Faith! Our kind, humble father and grandfather, Grant R. Hofler, passed away on October 14, 2014. Grant was born on October 5, 1925 in Logan, Utah to goodly parents, Emil August and Louise Wursten Hofler. Grant attended school in Logan and was drafted into the US Navy at age 18 and served for three years. Shortly after an honorable discharge he served a mission for the LDS Church in Great Britain. He married Norma Ann Andersen on March 30, 1951 in the Logan LDS Temple. They were blessed with two daughters and one son, who was stillborn. Norma passed away on January 16, 2013. Grant worked in construction and later worked and retired from the US Postal Service as a letter carrier. He enjoyed woodworking and built many items for his posterity to enjoy. He also liked to go fishing. Grant was an active member in the LDS Church and served in various leadership callings and was a valiant home teacher for many years. He also enjoyed serving in the Ogden Temple with his wife. Grant is survived by his two daughters, LuAnn (Mike) Schmucker and Julie (Keith) Stoddard bot of Layton; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, with one on the way. He was preceded in death by his wife; infant son; parents and eight siblings.
