Gwynne Nichols

It is with fondness and deep respect that we remember the life of Gwynne Roberts Nichols, who was unexpectedly called home to her eternal companion on August 9, 2024. Born on March 2, 1942, in Cedar City, Utah, Gwynne lived a life filled with compassion, unwavering support, and reliability. She was known for her radiant spirit and her steadfast love for her family, church, and community.
Gwynne was a proud administrative assistant at the IHC North Ogden Clinic, where her reliable and compassionate nature shone brightly. She spent her free time indulging in her hobbies, including reading, ceramics, shopping, and cross-stitch. Gwynne was also renowned for her love of games with her family and friends, chocolate, diet coke, popcorn and Elvis. Family was everything to her! She lived in various places throughout her life, including Reno, Provo, Hawaii, Salt Lake City, and Los Angeles, before settling in North Ogden. Gwynne's achievements extended beyond her professional life, as she was an exemplary member of her high school's Student Government and Drill Team.
Gwynne was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, dedicating 20 years of service as a conference center missionary alongside her husband, Nick. She served in many church callings in the Relief Society, Young Women's, and Primary. Her faith was a beacon that guided her, and her commitment to her church was unwavering. Gwynne is survived by her children, Kristin (Roger) Smout, Kerri Crawford, Tricia (Ken) Buss, Marci (Randon) Reed, Jaime (Brian) Cragun, Carl (Maren) Roberts, Tyler Nichols, 19 grandchildren, and a brother, David Roberts. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Nick, her parents, Reed and Alberta Roberts, a sister, Carol Schindler, and a brother, Evan Roberts.
Please join us in celebrating Gwynne's life at a viewing on Monday, August 19, 2024, from 6-8 pm at the Coldwater Stake Center, 770 E. 2100 N. North Ogden, Utah. A graveside service for family and close friends will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Ben Lomond Cemetery, 600 E. 2850 N. North Ogden, Utah.
