Harald L. Christensen
ROY -- Harald L. Christensen passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at McKay-Dee Hospital. He was born to Harald Johann and Laura Marie Thomas Christensen on July 15, 1931 in Shanghai, China.
Harold married Anna Renate Riese; she passed away in December, 1973. He later married Eileen Shields Dibble on April 7, 1982.
He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam and Korean wars from 1952 to 1973. After retirement he worked over seas as a food service manager from 1974 to 1998.
Harold loved to fish, travel and doing wood carving and painting.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen; daughters: Dianna Thompson, Sunset, UT, Donna Ferguson, Morris, IL, Linda Sheltra, Hooper, UT, Lana Turner, Ogden, UT, and his best friends, Mr. and Mrs. Ray "Junior" Stack; 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and seven great, great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Johnny, and daughter, Jackie Chvatal.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 16, at 2:00 p.m. at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, UT.
