Harold Eugene Holm

Harold Eugene (Gene) Holm born to Elizabeth and Harold John Holm on August 14, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah died March 9, 2015 from leukemia, a terrible blood disease.

I lived most of my life in the Salt Lake City area and graduated from Morgan High School. I enlisted in the United States Navy in 1951 during the Korean War and served aboard the U.S.S. AJAX-AP-6. After discharge I attended the University of Utah and Weber State College. I met my future wife and loveable companion of 57 years.

I was employed as a machinist for several years and then later worked for the U.S. Navy and Defense Logistics Agency. I retired from Civil Service in 1994.

My beacon of life and I traveled to many places and visited other countries. My other interests were playing golf, gardening and building a family cabin.

I am survived by my loving wife Jean, our children Margaret, Richard and Michael Holm, and five wonderful grandchildren.

There will be no services and a family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
