OGDEN - Our loving mother and grandmother completed her earthly journey on March 11, 2005 to join many family members and friends who were anxiously awaiting her arrival.

Helen Jones Clegg passed away peacefully at McKay-Dee Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Helen was born to Vildia Perkes and Joseph Edward Jones on March 13, 1923 in Ogden, Utah. She would have celebrated her 82nd birthday Sunday.

She was married to Byron E. Christiansen in February 1944. He completed his earthly journey in 1950.

Helen married Myrl Criddle Clegg on January 10, 1951. He also completed his earthly mission on February 1, 2002.

Helen was an active member of the Mount Lewis 1st Ward. She served in many church positions including ordinance temple worker and a devoted visiting teacher.

She worked at McKay-Dee Hospital for 20 years. She enjoyed the outdoors, sewing, reading and crocheting.

She is survived by two daughters and two sons, Mary Louise (Rue) Jolley, Clearfield; Carol Ann Clegg, Thomas E. Christiansen and Ken G. (Joy) Clegg all of Ogden; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 10 brothers and sisters.
