Helen Elizabeth Johnson

Helen Elizabeth Johnson, 65, passed away peacefully to be reunited with her parents and son, Max, on November 11, 2002 at McKay-Dee Hospital. She was born November 3, 1937 in Macon, Georgia the second child of George and Katie Lee Head.

In the fall of 1956, at age 18, she was joined in holy matrimony with Harvey Martin, later divorced. The two resided in Cleveland, OH. God blessed this union and 4 children were brought forth. - Valerie, Rick (Sharon), Max (who preceded her in death), and Michael (Detorea).

Helen was well known for her kind heart and illuminant sense of humor. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The youthfulness in Helen loved to play video games, work hidden word puzzles, and play card games. She devoted her life to serving her family, friends, and community - even after suffering a brain aneurysm in 1995, which resulted in many physical hardships. We will miss her warm heart and uplifting smile.

She is survived by Roberta Daniely (sister) of Macon, Georgia; 3 children; 17 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
