Henreta M. Defries Bishop Obituary (1917 - 2009)

Henreta Bishop Ogden - Henreta M. DeFries Bishop, 91, died October 3, 2009. She was born November 23, 1917 the daughter of John and Jennie Mietus DeFries in Wilson, Utah. Henreta married Weldon Tams Bishop in March of 1942. He preceded her in death in 1998. She was a member of the LDS Church and attended the Pleasant Valley 4th Ward. She lived in the Bay Area of California and in Daly City, CA, moving to Utah two years ago. She worked in the culinary business for many years in the San Francisco area. Henreta is survived by her sister Elfonda Weller of Ogden; her brother Peter LaMar DeFries of West Haven and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter Janet Valarie; two brothers Alvin John and Darreld Glen. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd., Ogden.
