VIRGINIA T. ANDERSON

ROY - Virginia Anderson, 91, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2006 at her home. She was born February 8, 1914 in Riverdale, Utah, the daughter of Charles and Anna Marie Hansen Taylor. She married G. Edwin (Ted) Anderson on June 25, 1936 in Riverdale, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

Virginia graduated from Weber High School and Weber College Beauty School She operated her own beauty shop, a cafe, and was cook/grandma to many children at Wonderland Pre-school. For 12 years she was Riverdale's first "First Lady." She was born and raised in Riverdale and lived there much of her lifea"later residing in Roy.

She was an active member of the LDS church and held many positions.

Surviving are her children, Edwin T. (Judy) Anderson; Sandra L. Judkins; Sharon L. (Joe) Trease and Kent T. (Wendy) Anderson; 27 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four sisters and a brother; two nieces, Barbara Dabb and Bonnie VanDyke and a son-in-law, Alan Judkins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 5865 South 1900 West. Family and friends may call on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Washington Heights Memorial Park,
