Henry Post Click here to listen to Funeral Recording Our loving husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa Henry Post age 72 passed away peacefully Thursday August 15, 2013 after a 4 1/2 year battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was born September 7, 1940 in Ogden, Utah to Balster and Jane Wolthuis Post. He graduated from Weber High in 1959 and served a mission to the Netherlands. On August 31, 1963 Henry married Judy Overman. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on September 26, 1968. They were 16 days short of their 50th Wedding Anniversary. He was a faithful member of the Plain City 7th Ward, where he served in various leadership callings and a bishopric. Henry and his wife served an Ogden Inner-City Mission Henry started in the asphalt business 45 years ago. In 1996, he started Post Asphalt Paving Co. with his two sons Jeff and Erik. His commitment to honesty and quality of workmanship was well known throughout the industry. Henry will always be remembered for his hard work, love of farming and service to others. Since retiring, he enjoyed spending time on vacations, gardening, four-wheeling, pheasant hunting in South Dakota and most of all, watching his grandkids play sports. He was preceded in death by his parents Balster and Jane Post and his daughter Teresa Post Schoonmaker. Henry is survived by his loving wife, Judy. Children: Mike, Jeff (Natalie Currie), Erik (Michelle Currie), Nicole Post (Ken) Hall. Siblings: Jake (Belva) Post, Harmina (Buster) Brown, Eelje (John) Kap, Anna (Reed) Harding, Hazien (Ray) Page, Dena (Bob) Dominguez. He has 21 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr Marion Pham, Dr Mary Beth Scholand, Lincare (Chris), Med Star (Dave) and Hearts of Hospice (Christie, Erica and Christina). Thank you for all your help. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 19, 2013 at the Plain City 7th Ward, 2952 North 4200 West. A viewing will be held at the church on Sunday August 18, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m. and Monday prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment, Plain City Cemetery.
