Howard Swen Larsen

BRIGHAM CITY - Howard Swen Larsen, 80, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2006 at McKay Dee Hospital.
Howard was born in Ogden, Utah on April 18, 1926 a son of Swen and Bertha May Christensen Larsen.
He served his country in WWII in the Navy as a Seabee.
Howard married Patricia Lou Campion on February 1, 1951 in Salt Lake City, UT, their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Pat passed away October 8, 1981. He married Carol Harper on April 13, 1982 in the Logan LDS Temple for time.
He was a life long member of the LDS church and served in numerous calling, one of his favorite callings was with his wife as an Ordinance Worker in the Mesa, AZ Temple for three years.
Howard was an Industrial Education teacher at Mt. Ogden Junior High for 30 years. Howard and Pat also owned The Youth Shop in Brigham City.
He was an avid outdoorsman his whole life, enjoying hunting, fishing and camping with his family.
Surviving are his wife, Carol Larsen, Perry, UT; children: Howard Chris (Debbie) Larsen, Payson, AZ; Randall Scott Larsen, Provo, UT; Julie Marcelle Davis, Provo, UT;
Richard Andrew (ChaRee) Larsen, Laketown, UT; Ryan Blake (Casey) Larsen, Bentonville, AR; Noel (Ann Marie) Jensen, Des Plaines, IL; Julie (Neal) Korth, North Ogden, UT; Kent (Jill) Jensen, Brigham City, UT; Bruce Jensen, Rhome, TX; Linda (Daniel) Suliafu, Naperville, IL; Karen (Paul) Velasquez, Farr West, UT; Paul (Jill) Jensen, Brigham City, UT; Jared (Rebecca) Jensen, Naperville, IL; 19 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his sister and brothers, Joan (Ross) Olsen, Brigham City, UT; Robert (Sharon) Jensen, Pleasant Grove, UT; Delon (Sandy) Jensen, Brigham City, UT.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Pat, his sister, June and brother Junior.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Perry Chapel, 2415 S. Park Drive, Perry, UT.
Friends may call on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, and on Thursday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the Church.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
