H. Lamont Boothe

OGDEN - Our loving father and grandfather, H. Lamont Boothe of Ogden, died Dec 31, 2004.

He was born May 7, 1913 in Honeyville, Utah to Hyrum M. and Paulie Belle Tolman Boothe. He married Twila Blythe Peterson on Aug 20, 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Mar 7, 2002.

Dad graduated from Box Elder High School. He served in many church callings including in the Bishopric.

He was employed by CC Anderson's, Boyle Furniture, Ogden City Fire Dept., retiring as asst fire chief, Weber County and Motorola. He and his wife volunteered for many years for the Open Door Association.

His interests were his family and friends, reading and working on his personal history.

Surviving are his children and their spouses, Sharon (Grant) Seegmiller, Duane (Linda) Boothe, Vicki (Frank) Johnson, Sandy Boothe, Kevin (Sandy J.) Boothe, and "adopted" son Stephen Felt. Also surviving are one sister Helen Pack of SLC; 17 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild due in April.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his son Dennis, parents, one sister, and two brothers.
