Ida Joann O'Dell Obituary (1959 - 2014)

Joann O'Dell Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Ida Joann O'Dell, passed away of sudden complications on May 26, 2014. She was born on November 27, 1959 in Ogden, Utah to Darrell O'Dell and Irene Matsamas. Joann loved to talk to her family and friends on the phone. She was full of energy and always dedicated to a cause or project. She was the definition of spit-fire. Joann is survived by her children, Brandon (Hayli) Lynch, Andrew Wrona and Katrina Empey; 3 grandchildren, McKenna Lynch, Jaxon Lynch and Kayden Wrona; siblings, Bobby (Karla) O'Dell, Thomas (Lori) O'Dell, Susan (Curtis) Shaw, Steven Ball, Chris (Heather) Ball, and Jerry Ball; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew. We love you and will miss you. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Myers Mortuary of Ogden to help with funeral expenses.
