INEZ MENDEZ FLOREZ

TAYLORSVILLE - Inez Mendez Florez, 83, died February 3, 2001 at Cottonwood Hospital.
Inez was born April 20, 1917 to Helaro Jose and Pilar Mora Mendez in Mitchaucon, Mexico.
As a young woman she worked for the Mexican Consulate.
She married Gabriel Florez in October of 1950 in Brigham City, Utah.
Inez was a member of St. Henrys Catholic Church.
She had just celebrated her 63rd class reunion from Box Elder High School. Inez loved crocheting and giving things she made away.

Surviving are six children; Julie (Al) Diles, Sacramento, CA, Steven (Patricia) Florez, Taylorsville, UT,
Mary Carter, Sacramento, CA, Daniel Florez, Brigham, Kathleen Florez, Ogden, UT, Veda Litton, Nampa, CA, six grandchildren; Olivia Carter, Pilar Nakamura, Jessica & Andy Florez, Stephanie Harmon, Joseph Irvine; 1 great-grandchild; Gabriel, six brothers and sisters; Reuben (Mary) Mendez, Roy, Adolfo (Josephine) Mendez, Ogden, Mary Rio, Bountiful, Mike Mendez & Rosie Mendez both of Brigham City, Paul (Angie) Juzman, Chino, Ca, one brother-in-law; Leno (Susan) Florez, Murray.
Funeral Mass will be Friday, February 9, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Henrys Catholic Church, 380 S. 200 E., Brigham City, UT.
Rosary and services will be Thursday, at 6:30 p.m. at Myers Mortuary in Brigham.
Friends may call Thursday 6:00 to 6:20 p.m. and following the services until 8:00 p.m.
Interment will be in the Corinne Cemetery.
