Our wonderful father, grandfather and friend returned home to his Father in Heaven on November 14, 2013, he was born on November 24, 1930 in Ogden, Utah to LeRoy and Beatrice Shaw Robinson. Jim passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family.

On October 18, 1952 Jim married his sweetheart, Renee Smith, in Elko Nevada; they were later sealed to each other and their 3 daughters in the Logan Temple becoming an Eternal Family.

He was a lifelong resident of Ogden where he worked, served his community and raised his family. Jim worked for Ogden City in the Water Department for 44 years and was the Water Superintendent when he retired early to spend time with his wife and family. Jim and Renee loved to travel in their motor home with friends and family and loved their alone time camping and fishing with their grandchildren.

Jim was an avid sports fan and loved to talk about "his" Utah Jazz. He played all sports through school, as well as after and was a State Golden Gloves Champion boxer.

Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Renee and is survived by his 3 daughters, Kathryn Wheeler, Melinda (Brian) Brockbrader and Elizabeth (Tom) Norton; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great- grandchild.

We will all miss Grandpa Jim...The Robinson family would also like to thank Envision Homecare and Hospice and Pineview Rehab for their tender loving care of our father.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 17th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc. in Jim's name.
