James Henry Wright Obituary (1912 - 2008)

James Henry Wright OGDEN - James Henry Wright, 95, died September 1, 2008 in Ogden, Utah. He was born September 27, 1912 in Thomasville, GA the son of Malcom and Delina Martin Wright. He married Iona Brunker Nov. 16, 1936 in Ogden; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Jim served his country as a member of the US Army during WWII. He was a member of the LDS Church. He was a cook for Keeleys, Ross and Jacks, and owned Jim and Iona's CafAC.. He loved his cabin and fishing at Hebgen Lake, MT. He is survived by his daughter Sherroll Mae James; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his wife Iona; son Carl B. and daughter Bertha Ann. The family wishes to thank Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ransel for all of their special help and care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Utah Food Bank in care of Catholic Community Services, 2504 F Ave., Ogden, Utah 84401. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2008 at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden.
