James Hartley Parker Obituary (1962 - 2017)

Parker, James H. James H. Parker passed away from a long struggle with COPD on March 5, 2017. He was born on August 25th, 1962 in Provo, Utah. A son of Patsy LaRue Peterson (Deceased) and Steven Parker. He attended Sunset Jr High and Clearfield High school. He enjoyed spending time with family, playing pool and really enjoyed the NFL football season. Although James was rough around the edges he had a giving heart as witnessed by the care he gave his mom after her stroke and father who is fighting a battle with Dementia. Surviving are his Father Steven Parker of Clearfield, Utah. Brothers Steven B. Parker(Sherry) - Centerville, Utah; Lance Parker (Gretchen) - Roy, Utah, Daughter Megan Layman Gines (Adam)and Grandsons Daxstin Gines, Hunter Gines, Carson Gines and Blake Gines all from Riverside, Utah. He also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces. Graveside service by Roy Myers Mortuary will be held Monday March 13th at 11:00 am at Clinton Cemetery located at 813 N. 750 W, Clinton, Utah. Also following there will be a celebration of Life at the American Legion Post #134, 345 Depot St., Clearfield Utah. Open to all those wishing to pay their respects.
