Jane Marie (Brown) Hammett Obituary (1945 - 2022)

Jane Marie Brown Hammett joined the throng of angels Friday, February 25, 2022. Born August 13, 1945, in Spartanburg, SC, to James Benjamin Brown and Edith Dolores Hartley, Jane spent her early years in Spartanburg and graduated from Spartanburg High School in the Class of 1963. She continued at Anderson Junior College in Anderson, SC, receiving a General Studies degree and later completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Mercer University in Atlanta, GA. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas B. Hammett, Jr., her parents, and her eldest brother, James. She is survived by her brother William and sister Laura. Her legacy of confidence, sunny disposition, free-spiritedness, and most importantly, Christ-like kindness will be well-remembered and cherished.
