"Forever Ma and Pa"

On April 24, 2019, our dear sweet Mother, Janean Yearsley Allen passed away peacefully.

Mom was born on March 16, 1940, the first and only daughter of Claude and Cleo Yearsley, a son was soon to follow - Dennis Yearsley.

Mom married Richard Wilson and from this union four children were brought into this world - Richard, Cindy, Diane and Jeffrey. They later divorced.

She married Joseph Spruill and had one child - Darrin. They later divorced.

She met the love of her life and her forever partner, Gary D Allen. From this union she gained two step-children - Kevin and Christine. Mom and Dad were joined in marriage in 1979 and enjoyed 39 years together. Dad passed away in August 2018 and left her saddened and lost. What a blessed occasion it will be when they are in each other's arms again.

Mom was a very talented seamstress; she could and did make everything. She loved all arts and crafts. Mom was an avid shopper and could out shop anybody. Mom had a deep love for all animals especially dogs. She never met a dog she didn't love.

Mom loved adventures and was always ready to go. Mom and Dad loved to go camping and take rides to Idaho for lottery tickets and ice cream. They also loved to go to Wendover and play the nickel machines. Mom loved music, sometimes she had the music so loud that dad just had to go outside and hang out in the garage until it was over - he wasn't about to tell her to turn it down!

Surviving children are Kevin (Lori) Allen, Christine (Kenny) Terkelson, Richard Wilson, Cindy (David) Ogden, Diane (Alan) Dailey, Jeffrey (Kayla) Wilson and Darrin (Sugaree) Spruill. Also surviving is Mom's brother Dennis (Sharon) Yearsley. Mom leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved her very much.

Mom will be missed more than words can express but we are also grateful that she will be with Dad again; Ma and Pa Forever... ... We love you Mom.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2019 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd.
