Janene Snow Obituary (1953 - 2024)

Janene Snow passed away peacefully on June 23, 2024 after an extended battle with kidney and heart failure. She was born in Brigham City, Utah on December 7, 1953, the second of 5 children but the oldest girl born to Jerry and LaRee Snow. Janene grew up in LaPuente, California where she followed in her dad's footsteps of being a Machinist. She moved to Utah and settled in the family home ahead of the rest of the family, returning to Utah a few years later. She and her Dad worked together for the majority of her life, starting in California and then when her parents moved back to Brigham and her Dad opened his own machine shop, she worked there with him until her retirement. She was so very dedicated to him, the shop, and the work they did there. She enjoyed cooking for family, camping (especially in the mountains which she always talked about how much she loved "HER" mountains!), family gatherings, and gardening. She also loved to crochet (which she was amazing at) and give away all her masterpieces. She would make blankets for all the new babies born into the family and also for friends. She especially liked donating them to charities too. She is survived by her brother, Brian Snow; two sisters, Kim Fletcher and Kathleen Snow and several nieces/nephews, and great-nieces/nephews whom she adored! She is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and LaRee Snow, her sister, Cynthia Tarza Snow Jones, sister-in-law Marlene Snow, and nephew Jerry Lester Taylor. The family will have a small intimate Graveside Service on Saturday June 29, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at the Brigham City Cemetery where she will be buried with her parents. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made either to the family directly or to your favorite children's charity in her honor. Services entrusted to Myers Mortuary of Brigham City, Utah.
