OGDEN - Janet Neilson Hancock, 85, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2004 from natural causes.

She was born October 30, 1919 in Taylor, Utah, the daughter of Fred and Mabel Hogge Neilson.

On April 13, 1939 she married Parley Phillip Hancock in Ogden. He passed away on March 9, 1976.

Janet was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Washington Terrace 13th Ward where she was a visiting teacher.

She had been employed at Royal McBee Industries for 26 years.

Janet is survived by one son, Brent Phillip (Diane) Hancock of Mesquite, NV; four grandchildren, Troy, Curtis, Paige, Piper and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Donna Robins of Roy; Beth Wood of Washington Terrace; one brother, Robert (Leah) Neilson of Roy; three sisters-in-law, Muriel, LaVerne and Helen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Mabel Neilson; her husband, Parley P. Hancock; one son, Gordon B. Hancock; a special friend, Maurice Porter; brothers, Floyd, Ken, Marv, Les, Dick, Milt and sisters, Lorene and Isabelle.
