CLEARFIELD - Janice Kay Day, 74, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015.

She was born December 28, 1940 in Ogden, Utah to James Dee and Irene Walker Weaver.

She married Michael Dean Estes on July 1, 1957 in Ogden, Utah. They later divorced. She married James Hal Day on June 3, 1978 in Nevada. They were later sealed in the Temple. Hal passed away January 2002.
Jan attended Ben Lomond High School. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Clearfield 10th Ward. She enjoyed working with the single adults.

Jan worked for Davis County Mental Health for many years, and worked in the banking industry. She was a member of the "Grandma Angel Group", loved gardening, decorating, cooking and the outdoors.

She is survived by her children: Michael D. (Sue) Estes, Steven D. (Jeff Middleton) Estes, Kim (Robert) Beck, David (Buzz Talbot) Estes, daughter-in-law Robbyn (David) Dunn, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother Leslie D. (Charlene) Weaver.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Scott Estes and two brothers Larry James Weaver and William Ronald Weaver.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 3, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy. A viewing will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:40 to 10:40 a.m. prior to services.

Interment, Myers Evergreen Memorial Park.
