There were quite a few years that the whole family did foster care through the state. These were some hectic times but the entire family was up for the task. Over the years she brought in, loved and cared for over 20 children and adopted six children.
Through the years she worked for fruit stands, provided day-care services, house keeping, tele-marketing, worked as a cook for Pioneer Care Center, cashier for Willard Grocery Store, and secretary for several real-estate offices.
Some of her favorite things were family pot luck gatherings, going for a ride or to a movie with a loved one, or spending any time at all with grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Janie had many hobbies, crocheting, sewing, embroidery, oil painting, scripture reading, and genealogy.
