Jared Kenneth Harper Obituary (1971 - 2014)

CORINNE - Jared Kenneth Harper passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Jared was born April 8, 1971 in Brigham City, Utah a son of Kenneth Lee Harper and Vickie Lynn Lewis. He grew up helping on the family farm in Corinne. Jared attended Box Elder High School. He worked as a welder at Vulcraft. Jared married Meriah Ranay Bates on July 17, 1993 in Willard, Utah. He was a man with a big heart and was very giving. Jared loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed anything outdoors especially hunting and fishing with his two boys. Jared liked to watch sports especially football. He will be remembered for his contagious laugh. Surviving are his wife Meriah, sons: Trevor Jared Harper and Triston Neil Harper, parents: Kenneth Lee Harper and Vickie Lynn Lewis, grandparents: Diane Harper and Clent and Colleen Lewis, siblings: Katie C. Harper, Allecia (Daniel) Allred, Stephanie Wilhite, Janeil (Dan) Heaton, Ken Cade (Kiesha) Harper, mother-in-law Sheri Peterson, brother-in-law Sammy (Candy) Bates and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his grandpa Grover Neil Harper, uncle Craig Lewis, sister-in-law Tina Bates and father-in-law Reed Peterson and father-in-law Joseph Bates. A gathering will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Corinne 2nd Ward, 2325 N. 4000 W., Corinne, UT.
