Javier (Victor) Apadron
June 25, 1926 - January 11, 2015

Our dad was born in Veracruz, Mexico on June 25, 1926. Dad passed away peacefully after a long illness on January 11, 2015; he was 88 years old.

Dad married Ermelinda Martinez Apadron in 1955 in Ogden, Utah. They raised five wonderful children together and he went to work for the Southern Pacific
Railroad in 1950 and retired in 1980. He later started a landscaping business.

He loved to dance and enjoyed a variety of music, the last CD he enjoyed was Santana.

Dad was kind, caring, and generous to his family and everyone he met. He was a humble and self-educated man. He enjoyed going to the Catholic church and working in his gardens. He loved to cook and share his food with everyone who came to his home, especially his kids, grandkids and great grandkids. He had good stories about all of his travels. He was wise and had an amazing sense of humor; he will always be remembered for this.

Victor is survived by his wife, Ermelinda; children, David (Olivia) Martinez, Bernadette Apadron (Leonardo Lopez), Arthur Apadron, Juliana Martinez and Vicky (Ernesto) MagaAa; 8 grandchildren, Ron (Julie) Martinez, Vaughn (Michelle) Martinez, Cande (Zeb) Booker, Sergio MagaAa, Carlos MagaAa, Mario MagaAa, Morningstar Begay, Anastasia; great grandchildren, Maddison MagaAa, Kole and Lauren Booker, Jacob, Cameron, Riley and Megan Martinez.

We all love you so much Dad, Grandpa Victor. May you rest in peace and may the Creator, always comfort you in your Heavenly home.

Special thanks to the staff at Rocky Mtn. Care Nursing Home, McKay Dee Hospital and IHC Hospice. They were so caring and competent in their care of Javier.
