JeanAnn Dabb 24 December 1957 - 20 October 2015 Click here to listen to Funeral Recording Fredericksburg Virginia - JeanAnn Dabb passed away on October 20, 2015 due to cancer. She was born in Ogden, Utah to Ray Leo and Elaine Brimley Dabb. She lived much of her life in North Ogden graduating from Weber State University. She went on to earn an M.A. at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. JeanAnn was a professor of Art history at the University of Mary Washington, Fredericksburg, VA for over 20 years, teaching courses in ancient and medieval art, the history of mosaics and the films of Alfred Hitchcock. She earned several awards for teaching. JeanAnn was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who especially loved serving in Primary and Relief Society callings. She enjoyed arts, Mosaic arts, books, movies and Alfred Hitchcock. JeanAnn is survived by her mother Elaine; brother Howard (Ann) Dabb; brother Michael (Angela) Dabb; six nieces and nephews and eight great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray and a niece, Michelle. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the North Ogden LDS 16th Ward, 205 E. Elberta Drive. A viewing will be held the church on Friday, from 6 to 8 PM and on Saturday prior to the service from 9:45 to 10:45 AM. Interment will be at the Ben Lomond Cemetery.
